Overview of All 3 Calendar Systems,
Especially the "Eternal Calendar"

(To Part One)

There are two other ways of deducing leap-month cycles
 beyond the simplistic 40 x 100 x 25-year method.
 

Out 1 day every 5 trillion years;
and also accurate forever!

 

(Note: long cycles do not mean that the earth has, or will, endure that long, although geological ages fit our pattern perfectly and profoundly. Their purpose is to produce biblical patterns pregnant with symbolic meaning, and to aid us in contemplating the eternal reign of Jesus the Messiah.)

Let us review the basic 40-year cycle first:

Basic 40-year Cycle of the 360 Calendar REVIEWED

(Note: the 7th leap-month is omitted at the specified cycles in the 3840-Calendar;
and the 7th, and/or, both 6th and 7th in the 4000-Calendar. 
A leap-month year has 390 days, a regular year has 360, [12 months of 30 days])

Both calendars are derived from the exact solar year of 365.2421896698 days as if forever unchanging on Y2K. Remember that the purpose of the calendar is to create symbolic patterns descriptive of the soon-coming eternal reign of Jesus the Messiah; it is not a calendar to live by.

The difference between the "4000 Calendar" and the "3860 Calendar:"

 

The basic 40-year pattern remains intact for all 3 calendars. The difference lies in the next step. Rather than a leap-month omission upon every 100 cycles of 40 years, (i.e., every 4000 years), the leap month omission occurs instead upon every 96 cycles of the 40-year cycle, (i.e., every 3840 years). This subsequently causes slight (but meaningful) alterations to the rest of the calendar. The number '3840 years' does not have the immediate resemblance of a biblical unit as does '4000' years; but, '3840' is very much a biblical number. For example, '3840' amounts to '480¹ x 8 years', and also '1260 + 1290 + 1290 years,' (1Kgs. 6:1, Dan. 12:11, Rev. 11:3; 12:6).

The said '3840 cycle' (40 x 96) is further adjusted by a 60-squared cycle (3600), and then a 80-squared cycle (6400) to produce an array of staggeringly complex biblical patterns, while at the same time producing a calendar more accurate than a modern atomic clock! This means that the last 2 cycles (3600 and 6400) are 4800 squared, agreeing with its base cycle of 3840 (40 x 96), which amounts to 480 x 8  years! (That is, the last two cycles, 3600 x 6400 [23,040,000], are divisible by the first two cycles of 40 x 96 [3860].) It is easy to see how that these numbers are ideally suited to produce an array of complex biblical numbers. Moreover, both calendars are saturated with square-root figures, and this includes the interrelationships of the two calendars.

Square-Root Figures

The above chart contains many square-root figures---a consistent feature of the 360 calendar. Some examples, such as 60 and 80 (= 4,800) squared, are very obvious. Note also, for instance, that whereas the first two cycles amounts to 3840 years (40 x 96), the last two cycles (3600 and 6400) amount to 3840 times 6000! Hence, the final cycle of 88,473,600,000-years is also 3840 squared times 6000! 

Other examples: 

The final cycle of 88,473,600,000-years would contain 31,850,496,000,000 days in it if employing an unadjusted 360-day year. (We are using the round 360-year here, rather than the exact 365.2421896698 solar year that instead raises the final tally to be 32,314,291,391,970 days, as looked at earlier in this page. The comparison of on-going non-adjusted 360-day years with that of 'normal' adjusted years [i.e., cycles having leap months] are an important aspect of our calendar study). 

This final tally of 31,850,496,000,000 days, (i.e., tallied with no leap-months inserted), equals an even 240^7 minutes; or, 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 minutes exactly! (Or, if one prefers, 240^6 Hebrew watches; the day was divided into 6 equals parts called "watches".) The '240' has much the same meaning as the '480' does. The '480' is simply half the '240.' 

 

The following is the companion 4000-year calendar for comparison. The basic 40-year unit is the same in both calendars. Compare the two companion calendars for other square-root factors that exist between one cycle in the one calendar with another cycle in the other calendar table. For example, the 96,000-cycle is 25 times more than the 3840-cycle; twenty-five is five squared.

Final note:

Since the Exodus (1446 BC) is one of the natural starting points for both the 4000 and the 3840 prophetic calendars, therefore, note the significance of how many years/generations (of 40 years) to Christ's conception/birth from the exodus, and then again until the end of each of the two said calendar cycles. (The Exodus is the datum in early post-exodus history.) In a unique way, Christ is at the center of both of the first major cycles of each calendar system.

Endnotes:

1. The '480 years' is the standard unit wherein 1260 x 2 days, or 84 months of 30 days of leap-months, are accumulated. These are biblical numbers. 

(Note that Y2K, i.e., Jan. 1, AD 2000, was the 12th cycle of 480 years from the creation according to Jewish chronology. Hence, since each 480-year period has 12 generations of 40 years; therefore, Y2K was the 144th generation, (Rev. 7:4, cf., 8:1), which significantly, is 12 generations squared! See Why Y2K?}

Moreover, 3840 years equals 1260 + 1290 + 1290 years---also biblical numbers. We cannot go into their patterns now; but, suffice to say, what we have here are years intersecting days of same unit value---while simultaneously complementing its companion calendar---a very complex clock indeed! The main purpose of this 96-generational cycle calendar (i.e., 96 times 40-year calendar) is to bring out the importance of the familiar 7-day and year cycles of the bible. (Both 1260 and 1290 days are half of a 7-year period, etc.)

Moreover, the actual total tally of days [32,314,291,391,970 days] of the 40 x 96 (3840) calendar is divisible by 70 x 7 {490 days}, and also by '21-squared months' {13,230 days}. Again, these numbers can be shown to be biblical numbers of great importance; moreover, they are numbers used in association with time-keeping in the bible. (Go back.) 

Similarly, the final total tally of days with the special 40-billionth cycle of the 3840-cycle comes to 56,101,200,333,281,250 days, plus the extra month of 30 days equals 56,101,200,333,281,280 days. 56,101,200,333,281,250 is also divisible by 490 (70 x 7).

 

 

 

Agrees With the Cosmic Ages

Update on May 22, 2010, which is many years after this document was put out: It seems more likely that the massive cycles of millions of years ended at the birth of Christ, 6 BC, but that the simple 100,000 calendar began at creation as explained above. Interestingly, if astronomers are right (and this depends on uniformitarianism), and the big bang "creation" began "13.75 (± 0.11) billion years ago", this would make 6 BC the 40th cycle of the 4000-year calendar (345,600,000 x 40 years), and also the 1000th cycle of the "eternal calendar", (40 x 96 x 3600 x 40 years). Both the 40th or 1000th cycle of either calendar fits perfectly with the symbolic meaning of the time frames already discussed within the calendars. It also completes an impressive symmetry by beginning and ending on a cycle of 40. {See below chart.} This puts the Creation at March, 13,824,000,006 BC, and thus within the parameters of the age of the universe according to the most recent measurements. Either this is a most remarkable coincidence, or God! Even if the universe only appears to be this age (uniformitarianism), but instead is only about 6,000 years old, it is still a very remarkable "coincidence".

At the time that this calendar was studied and put on the net, astronomers had put the age of the universe at about 14.6 billion years, much too old to fit the 360-calendar. Perhaps science is just now catching up to what "God's" calendar was suggesting all along? I realize this raises questions about how literal the Genesis account is, questions that may take years to resolve. But in the end, God will be glorified more than ever. Of that I am sure! Interestingly, astronomers divide the approximate 14 billion into two nearly equal periods of 7 billion, similar to the biblical division of 7 + 7 years discussed here and elsewhere. This also completes seven cycles, just as in creation and also like the basic 40-year cycles. And like creation, the first three days mirror the next three days, with the seventh day set apart as special. Note in the below chart that the first three cycles occur within the biblical timeframes to do with human civilization.

 

 

This also fits well with the "thousand years equals a day" ratio as discussed already on this page. It creates the "12900 + 12900 + 12600" pattern, with the third figure commencing exactly when scientist say the earth itself began to form, that is 4.54 billions years ago. (12600 x 360 x 1000 = 4,536,000,000 years.) Interestingly, the sun is said to have formed shortly before the earth (about 30 million years), and will burn out 4.5 billion years from now, thus placing the present in the middle of the nine-billion-year life cycle of the sun. This completes the pattern of, "12900 + 12900 + 12600" + 12600/12900". This, therefore, completes the seven-plus-seven-year pattern except as seventy-year unites, with the seven's divided in half, as the bible indeed does. These are the same numeric patterns seen repeated in the history of human civilization, as examined in detail on the bible numbers website, except here repeating themselves back billions of years in increasingly large cycles. 

This also means that from the creation at 13,824,000,000 years before the Exodus and Christ are 144000 cycles of the 96,000-year cycle, and this also means that there are 144000 of the 4000-year cycle remaining after this to complete the 144000th cycle of the other 100,000-year cycle. These numbers are found in the bible, (Deut. 7:9, Rev. 7:4), and together imply that "a thousand generations" are like one man and one man like a thousand generations of men. This is very similar to where the bible says that, "a thousand years are like a day and a day is like a thousand years," (Psalm 90, 2Peter3:8). Jesus Christ is that "man", the elect one, "the firstborn over all creation".

Col. 1:15-17 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether they are kings, lords, rulers, or powers. All things have been created through him and for him. He himself existed before all things, and by him all things hold together."

("144000" is the number of God's elect at the end of the age, Rev. 7:4. 

"100,000" is 1000 generations of elect individuals, Deut. 7:9, a generation being 100 years. "Showing mercy to a thousand generations..." Deut. 7:9. (I.e., on this scale it is as if to say, "Showing mercy to a thousand generations 144000 times, once for every elect person!"

The "96,000 cycle" is a variant of the 100,000. It simply lacks the previous 4000-year cycle. Amazingly, a generation in the bible is either 40 or 100 years and " 4000" is 100 cycles of the basic 40-year cycle!

Also note that the 5th major cycle on the chart is a 14,400,000-year cycle, which happens to also be 144,000 generations of 100 years!)

Perhaps it is significant that the final figure for the eternal calendar (153.6 trillion years) is exactly 11,111.1111111111 etc., times the age of the universe, as said, at 13,824,000,006 BC. But this is probably just be a quirk of math.

I have attempted to compute the odds of all these patterns repeating themselves like this in the geological ages. Conservatively, I place the odds at about one in 2000 that the small contemporary scale would repeat itself on the enormous geological scale. (The real odds are more likely one in a million, but I would rather err on the side of the lesser.)  

What is the conclusion of the matter? 

God would have us to know that whether the age of the earth is young or old, He is Creator. God is sovereign over men and even their theories. And in the end when the dust settles, the truth will always glorify Him. So be still and know that He is God!

Final note: I later realized that about the very hour I made this discovery about the 40th cycle back to 13.8 billion years, the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus was being reburied. He is the priest that discovered that the earth revolved around the sun, and although rejected by the church at that time, it later proved to be a revolutionary truth that paved the way for modern astronomy. In the same way I am left to wonder whether Christians who fight against the notion of the heavens and earth being billions of years old will soon universally and irrefutably be found wrong? Moreover, two days before this, the first synthetic cell was created. Something to think about! I personally find nothing in the bible that contradicts a very old heavens and earth and indeed it makes far more sense to me even from a purely biblical perspective.

A Few Technical Notes:

1. New-years day of Nisan (Abib) 1st (morning) of the 360 calendar landed on April 9, 1446 BC (Gregorian calendar, but which was April 22 Julian). (April 9th on the conventional Jewish calendar that year was about Nisan 11.) The Julian day # is 1193382. (That day, therefore, symbolized as AD 1 as explained later.)

2. The 4000-year cycles began in 4006 BC at the Creation and again when they entered Egypt in 1446 BC. (Nisan 1 on the 360 calendar in 4006 BC falls on, or about, the spring equinox, March 21 Gregorian, which is April 22 Julian, which happens to be Nisan 1 on the regular Jewish calendar {as well as the 360 calendar}, which makes it a new moon! {Julian #258342.} The new moon, the spring equinox, and the start of the 360 calendar are therefore perfectly aligned with this Creation date to signal 'a new beginning'. However, it is my personal view that this date is merely symbolic for the Creation, and that the actual Creation date may be something else.) 

Note that both Creation ( 4006 BC) and the Exodus (1446 BC, see note #1) run along the same 40-year cycles.

The first 4000-year cycle ends at about the time of the conception of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ in 6 BC, (Julian #1719312, March 21 Gregorian, 23rd Julian). There are 64 generations/cycles of 40 years that pass between the Creation and the Exodus, and once again, 64 is a square-root figure, that is, 8 x 8, (or 8 x 8 x 8 x 5 years = 2560 years). Fittingly, the number "eight" in the bible symbolizes "a new beginning", with 2560 years being about how many days there are in a seven-year period, hence memorializing the Creation that took place in "seven days" --- a year for each day.

Observe that an overlap of one month (30 days), therefore, occurs between the years 6 BC and AD 2555 (2560 years). This is because the 4000-calendar from the Exodus will not complete its first cycle until AD 2555 thereby being ahead of the Creation-calendar by one leap-month all during this 2560-year span. This means that currently, and for the next 560 years, there is a one-month gap between the two calendars. 

The creation date is not based upon biblical chronology, although it is certainly in the right ballpark. The creation date of 4006 BC is mainly based upon the deduction that a calendar from creation should both weave into the time of the exodus and the birth of Christ, and this one does both exceedingly well. However, the exodus date is the only calendar date that is clearly established by the bible itself. The creation date is only inferred, although strongly so. Concerning the 3840-year cycles, I have come to favor the 4000-year cycles for its simplicity over the 3840-cycles, and simplicity is important for a calendar. After that are the 100,000-year cycles. Thus, 40 and 4000 and 100,000-year cycles. Beyond that I may have gone too far. I may yet put all other information on this website in archive. I am not as convinced of the 3840 cycles as I once was. It works just like I said, but it lacks simplicity, something I underestimated for significance. Also, when the calendar gets into cycles that run into the trillions of years, the symmetry exhibited might largely be due to the quirks of numbers. Numbers can do strange things by their very nature! See, "What Year are We in According to the 360 Calendar?"

 

3. You may find it interesting that the great tsunami that killed 230,000 on Dec. 26, 2004 was 1,260,000 days (Rev. 12) from Nisan 14 (360-calendar) of the Passover of the Exodus, and eve of the 10th plague upon Egypt. Click here for more on that. (This third note has been adjusted by 30 days since it was written. However, the meaning is still the same, just a little longer to explain. The symbolic day-year for the actual day of the tsunami is the reason why, and also see the above note.)
